About Us

Around 30 years ago Ben Johnston put on his first tool belt, starting a journey that would see him work on hundreds of building projects across Australia. After honing his skills and working with some of the best tradespeople and architects in the industry, he made the step to start his own business.

Today, Clockwork Constructions employs a brilliant team of tradespeople and support staff who have all risen to the top of their field. Based in Brunswick, we provide building, renovations and extensions to residents of Melbourne's north, including Fitzroy, Coburg, Northcote, Thornbury, Preston and Pascoe Vale. Though, we'll happily work in most locations within 10kms of the CBD.

We know that for many people the thought of building or extending can be stressful, especially when it comes to concerns, about price and quality. When you contact us for a quote, we'll take the time to explain and document every part of the process as well as provide you with a clear and competitive price. Ben remains involved at all stages of your project, overseeing the team's progress and often getting his hands dirty as well - there's truly no tougher critic than Ben and the result is always a completed project to the highest standard.

It's all part of the reason we've been in business for over 10 years (well that, and the fact we drink a lot great Brunswick coffee).
